Where are we?

Well it appears that I have been neglecting you all by not revealing our whereabouts.

My appologies.

The Prince of Wales Public House is situated on South Road, Newhaven, East Sussex.

It is a traditional hostelry offering a cask & keg ales, mild, stout, lagers and the usual goodies that get you nicely pissed.

Here's a map that I ripped off MapQuest.co.uk:

Things You Don't Really Need To Know About Newhaven

  1. Newhaven is located on the Sussex Coast, some 8 miles east of Brighton.
  2. Newhaven has a sandy beach which is currently owned by the French.
  3. Newhaven is the home of Artex and of Parker Pen.
  4. A big yellow ferry operates a cross - channel service between Newhaven and Dieppe.
  5. Newhaven's town centre boasts its very own moat, which the local authorities annoyingly refer to as a ring road.
  6. The last King of France spent a night here after fleeing his country.
  7. In more recent times, Newhaven played host to a rabid bat (1996).
